Largest Super moon 2016 and 2017 Vegas massacre board.

Custom spirit board made from reclaimed walnut and lignum vitae. Inlaid with crushed faux turquoise, abalone, black wax, lignum vitae shavings, and white mother of pearl. Custom build over 12 moons, finished during the Vegas shooting, 9 miles from the site.

Every spirit board is hand planed from rough sawn lumber, transferring physical energy as opposed to mechanical. The layout is done by hand and no CNC or laser work is involved. The importance of reducing machinery is to provide the vessel with the proper energy field to operate safely (Dremel was used to route the inlays, which were cut and shaped by hand). Good energy prevents negative spirits from uninvited communications*. Boards are only worked on during the full moons to harvest the energy required - sometimes they take years to make (3 days of work per month, if available)

Triple Super moon 2020 Board

Custom spirit board made from winter storm fell Ambrosia Silver Maple in Langhorne, PA 2018 and planchette made from a carpenter ant infested Black Cherry from Bensalem, PA 2018. Custom built over 24 moons. The layout is done by hand and no CNC or laser work is involved. All pyrography was done freehand to give a raw aesthetic.

This spirit board is chain sawed into rough sawn lumber, and then hand planed, transferring physical energy as opposed to mechanical. The planchette is book matched end grain cherry, cut out with a coping saw and carved by hand with chisels.
